Bucky, in the original Jibaku-kun (ジ バ ク く ん?), Is a series of manga created by Ami Shibata, published between 1997 and 1999. It received an adaptation for anime of 26 episodes by the studio Softx Trans Arts, originally exhibited in the TV Tokyo between October 1999 and March 2000.
In Brazil, the series was initially shown by Rede Bandeirantes, [1] in the Band Kids block, shortly after it ended in Japan. Later it was reprized by Rede 21. Also had a recent exhibition on TV Diário in 2015. [ 2] The series became a success in Brazil, despite the little popularity that the series had in other countries, including in its country of origin.
